Energy Missouri West seeks to raise renewable energy rate

Evergy Missouri West, formerly known as Kansas City Power & Light's Greater Missouri Operations Company, has filed an application to raise their renewable energy rate charge that appears on customer bills.

Customers using 1000 kilowatt-hours a month will be charged 5 cents more on the line item. Evergy seeks to have the change take place December 1st.

Applications to intervene and participate in the case must be filed no later than October 15th, which can be done online at psc.mo.gov.

Evergy Missouri West serves 13 counties in the KXCV-KRNW listening area.
